MAXXI also open on Monday 31 May

25,000 people from all over the world visited MAXXI during the three-day inauguration of the Museum on 27, 28 and 29 May. Artists, journalists, critics, curators collectors, members of the general public, the citizens and the inhabitants of the Flaminio quarter explored the museum designed by Zaha Hadid with its four inaugural exhibitions.

Sunday 30 May will be the museum’s first day that it is officially open to the public and will also house the preview of the Chance Encounter on the Tiber project, conceived by the composer Lisa Bielawa and Robert Hammond.

In response to the great enthusiasm with which the public has greeted the new museum, MAXXI will also be open on Monday 31 May (from 11.00 to 19.00).
