MAXXI is among six buildings shortlisted to receive the RIBA Stirling Prize, England’s most prestigious award for architecture.

Also on the shortlist are Rick Mather’s Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, England; Bateman’s Row in London, by Theis and Khan; Christ’s College School, by DSDHA in Guildford, England; Clapham Manor Primary School in London by dRMM and Neues Museum in Berlin by David Chipperfield Architects with Julian Harrap Architects.

The winner will be announced in London on Saturday 2 October 2010.
