As we enter the 20th century, due to the great effects of globalization the face of Chinese architecture has become indistinguishable from the rest of the world. This is an unprecedented shift in a country, such as China with more than six thousand years of traditional history. However, regardless of the ongoing changes in the world, the essence of architecture still remains unchanged. It is a sanctuary for humanity’s spiritual and everyday life.
