|Mani e Materia. Due M per Marisa Merz
Workshop on the exhibitionA proposito di Marisa Merz
Who is it for?
Primary schools (max. 30 participants – 1 class group)
What does it involve?
Starting out from the major installation by the Turin artist made of clay, copper and paper, the students explore artistic materials, discovering their properties and the unpredictable associations made by contemporary artists. Through a programme that involves sight, touch and smell, the young generations of the digital era rediscover contact with materials and the slow processes rich in meaning that characterise the artistic gesture.
Using fabric, copper, cork, plastic, paint and much more, each student will create their own work of art to be sewn together with those of their companions in a large group work.
From February to June, every Tuesday and Wednesday from 10.00, Thursday and Friday from 11.00.
