MAXXI IN ACTION. Understanding contemporary architecture
Sign, project, space. Zaha Hadid’s MAXXI for non-architect
Who is it aimed at?
An adult public.
When will it be held?
Saturday at 18.00 (max. 20 participants). Reservations required.
What does it involve?
A workshop devoted to MAXXI and its cultural mission and to Zaha Hadid’s architectural project and her working methods to provide an insight into the reasoning behind the choice of the winning design. An exploration via a number of thematic guidelines of the spatial and constructional qualities and unique features of the museum through the photography of the most important details.
How does it work?
The workshops involve an encounter at the museum lasting 2 1/2 hours and divided into two phases: the visit-exploration of the building and the hands-on workshop. The first consists of a guided tour of the museum, the second of a creative reinterpretation of the contents that emerge through a series of activities.
How much does it cost?
individuals and groups (up to 15 participants): €130,00 + museum entrance tickets
groups (15 – 25 participants): €130.00 + museum entrance tickets reduced to €8 per person
schools €100.00 per class group + entrance tickets (free for students of up to 14 years old, free for 1 teacher every 10 students, reduced to €4 per student over 15 years old – the reduced tariff is not available on public holidays)
