The new forms of collective residences from the “urban villa”
to the multiple aggregation

The book by Paola Veronica Dell’Aira, Living together individually published by Officina Edizioni, explores the current renewal of the theme of the “shared residence”, analysing the motives underlying a search for a quality of habitation that places an emphasis on individual experience, even within the design of collective homes.

A follow-up to the earlier From function to Form. Poetics of the domestic space, the book expands on the reasoning, extending it from the individual dwelling to the multi-family complex.

Attending the presentation will be the author Paola Veronica Dell’Aria, lecturer in the Department of Architecture and Design (DiAP) of La Sapienza Univeristy’s Faculty of Architecture in Rome.
