MAXXI pays tribute to the feminine universe: on the 8th of March, the “Festa della donna” or Women’s Day, all women may enter the museum with a reduced price ticket.
While this initiative, promoted by MiBAC, is designed to draw public attention to works of art that have always valorised the female figure as an inspirational muse, it is above all intended as a tribute to those women who have given and continue to give their precious contribution to art.
