MAXXI21 is an ideal place to meet and live life to the full: duplex, design, atmosphere, in&out, a view of MAXXI.
It is located in one of the two existing buildings that Zaha Hadid retained and integrated into her design for MAXXI. The carefully restored structure overlooks the museum piazza and also houses MAXXI B.A.S.E. and the bookshop.
The menu developed by the MAXXI21 chef is based on :
- “KM 0″, encouraging the use of products typical of Rome and the Lazio countryside, particularly those in season, translated into simple dishes reflecting a traditional cuisine;
- “0 Calories”, with the creation of a special menu with dishes containing no more than 250 Kcal, for all those looking for the “lightness” of home cooking.
Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday from 12.00 noon to museum closing times.
For reservations: 06 3207230
The cafeteria located in the museum atrium offers visitors a place for meeting and refreshment and has the same opening hours as the museum.
